Competition Time

It seems this is the season for speech competitions, summer camp applications, and other contests. In the past two weeks I've revised two applications for summer science camp at Northwestern, one essay for a contest, and five speeches. None of them are that long; however, they are all pretty terrible.

For example: "Rice cake with artemisia and beans are really a tidbit although they not so pretty. When she moves withered plants into a flowerspot and smooth it, they grow lively and blossm pretty flowers."

And that's from a pretty decent speech!
