The Most Photogenic Place Ever

We're back in Beijing now and running around like crazy people trying to get stuff done before we have to leave in a couple of weeks. I've decided to wait to blog about our trip until after we get back. Certain things are politically sensitive, and I've got plenty to blog about our last days here. For now, here are a few photos to tide you over from The Best Trip Ever in the Most Photogenic Place Ever. Looking at our pictures, I can't believe we were there.

The world's highest freshwater lake, as seen from the train.

Getting closer to Everest...

The world's tallest mountain at sunrise.

Rongbuk monastery.

Gyantse window.
