The Pie Verdict: Tis Good!

Remember the million-dollar pie I posted? Millie, our friend and neighbor from Iowa, tested the recipe--with her arm in a cast! That's dedication! Here's what she wrote:

Hey, Alisha,

I tried the Oprah recipe you wanted someone to try. With my help, Bob made it as my arm is in a cast---right one- you can see I can't do a lot.

The pie was good, it is like a recipe that I have with out the Granola, but we will make another one.

Now if only they could airmail me a piece :) We're going to Costco this weekend, so I'm going to look for ingredients and a toast oven, though I don't have my hopes up. Anyone else try the pie?
