Pacified

They say you should avoid giving pacifiers for the first six weeks if you're breastfeeding because you don't want to create nipple confusion and possibly screw up the breastfeeding. Lately she's been fussy during the witching hour--around 6 to 10 p.m.--so we were excited to try the pacifier instead of our fingers. It worked like a charm...the first day, that is! Now she (rather angrily) refuses it, and she's back to the finger. Oh well!
